Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

DANNY PHANTOM FANS, PAY ATTENTION. Everyone else, scroll down to the other bolded bits.

Well.

DP's being cancelled. The executives at Nick decided to pull production (who knows why? It was the third most popular series they had going for them.) and end the series at 53 episodes, which will finish up next year. 53 was originally only the completely planned episodes, but by no means the end of the series.

A lot of people won't care, but those who do, and would like to try and stop it, either sign the online petitions here, and here. If the online thing doesn't fly with you, go
here for other conact information. If you want further details on the whole cancellation thing, check out the DP section on Butch Hartman's forums.

Anyway. I did not have a good day today. There was no real reason for this, as today was mildly pleasant, it just didn't feel right. This bit of news didn't help, but - maybe it'll be a Disney situation where the fans will SWARM and RISE ABOVE, and bring the show back for two more seasons. Anyway.

I've never really cared enough about anything on tv to do much about it, but I think I will be sending Nick a letter (because on-line petitons mean diddly). I'm not surprised at all that they cut the show at 53 episodes; I kind of suspected they would (being a Zim fan, I'm rather jaded by this particular network). I'm just thankful we got as many eps as we did. 53 half-hours of wonderful art, great characters, humor, drama... And we'll at least get to see more new eps all the way into next year. Plus, since Butch and co. actually got a bit of a heads up, they have a chance to send the series out with a bang.

I will be the first to say that too much fanart is bad for you. You can burn out on it really quickly. It's got its perks (you get more attention for it) but it's like the potato chip of creativity: tastes great, instant gratification, but it'll clog your arteries. Or something. All in all, doing personal art (and stories) is more fulfilling. There's only so much playing around with other people's creations to do.

Damn. I'm all...being a downer n' stuff. Sorry 'bout that. I guess the news about DP is hitting harder then I expected. Erf.

I hope tomorrow is a better day for you.
